My Summer Prevention

Every day we see proof that early diagnosis of an illness significantly speeds up treatment and increases the patient's chances of complete recovery. Prevention is therefore definitely not a waste of time, quite to the contrary.

At My Clinic we perform preventive check-ups in all areas of medical specialization. Some examinations are recommended for certain age groups, while others are appropriate for all clients. For those of you who truly value their health, we've prepared a special summer package of four preventive examinations that you can undergo for a reduced price. This programme is a limited offer for the months of July and August.

The program contains the following preventive check-ups that are recommended for all age groups:

Internal medicine

  • a comprehensive internal check-up including recommended custom samples and an ECG
  • the check-up itself takes about 60 minutes and is performed in the morning on an empty stomach
  • it includes a subsequent discussion of the results of the check-up

Ophthalmology

  • a comprehensive eye examination to determine any refractive defects (shortsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia) and recommended corrections
  • measurement of intra-ocular pressure
  • a check of the front segment of both eyes and the fundus
  • an OCT examination (detailed imaging of the condition of the retina and the eye part of the optical nerve) as an important part of a preventive check-up aimed at timely diagnosis of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other eye diseases

Otolaryngology

  • a comprehensive preventive check-up of the head, neck, and ears
  • the check-up includes a physical examination, an examination of the nasopharynx and larynx and a microscope examination of the ears

Dermatology

  • a check-up focused on skin cancer prevention
  • includes an examination of moles using a microscope, discussion of the results, and instructions regarding appropriate skin protection
