Vaccination for our clients 10.26.2022

My Clinic offers its clients the option to get vaccinated against the flu, COVID-19, and tick-borne encephalitis.

VACCINATION AGAINST THE FLU

We vaccinate clients against the flu with injected vaccine Influvac Tetra, suitable as early as 6 months of age. Nasal-spray vaccine Fluenz Tetra is indicated for children and youth aged 2 to 17.

VACCINATION AGAINST COVID-19

We vaccinate using the Comirnaty BA.1, BA.4 and BA.5 vaccines by Pfizer/BioNTech.

The Comirnaty vaccine is for persons above the age of 12 who have received at least basic vaccination against COVID-19 (irrespective of the type of vaccine), i.e., it is strictly for use as a booster vaccine. It may be administered after at least three months have passed since the last dose of the preceding COVID-19 vaccination.

Detailed information on the various types of vaccines can be found on the websites of the Covid portal, of the Czech Health Ministry, and of the State Institute for Drug Control.  

VACCINATION AGAINST TICK-BORNE ENCEPHALITIS

While we vaccinate all year round, best is to start the course during the cooler months when ticks aren’t active. The base vaccination consists of three doses, applied within recommended intervals.  

The FSME-IMMUN 0.25 ml vaccine is for children aged 1 to 15. 

The FSME-IMMUN 0.5 ml vaccine is for persons aged 16 and above. Health insurance companies cover the costs of the vaccine for those above the age of 50.
