Splinting

SPLINTING is an effective approach within the field of prosthetics. Splinting influences the favorable healing of tissues after injury or surgery. It facilitates the return of impaired function and eliminates undesirable complications not only after surgical procedures but also aids in improving the range of motion. It prevents muscle shortening, enhances limb positioning, movement coordination, and mobility facilitation.

Very often, splints are crafted even before surgical procedures to achieve a better preoperative state, aiming to improve postoperative outcomes. We use thermoplastic materials to manufacture splints, tailored to the individual's specific difficulties.

Custom-made splints can be utilized for both adults and in paediatrics/neurological patients.
