Finding a pediatrician for a child today often means more than simply securing a place in a doctor’s office. Parents are looking for reassurance. They want to know who they can turn to when their baby has a first fever, when illnesses keep coming back, or when they have questions about vaccination, development, sleep, movement or their child’s emotional wellbeing.
At MY CLINIC, we see pediatrics as long-term care for the child and support for the whole family. The pediatrician is a guide who knows the child, follows their development and, when needed, can recommend follow-up care from other specialists — all under one roof.
A baby’s first fever. Recurrent illnesses after starting kindergarten. A chronic cough or long-term abdominal pain in a school-age child, where it is not clear whether the cause is diet, stress or something more serious.
Children’s health is not an isolated discipline. Immunity, development, mental wellbeing, movement, sleep, nutrition and the environment in which the child grows up often meet in one place.
That is why care that is not fragmented makes sense. At MY CLINIC, parents have access to a team of specialists who communicate with each other, share information and work together to find the best solution for the whole family, taking the child’s current needs into account.
In the usual healthcare system, there is often a situation where the pediatrician identifies a problem, but the next steps — finding and booking a specialist, repeating the medical history, passing on medical reports and so on — are left to the parents.
Modern pediatrics can work differently.
The pediatrician remains the family’s main partner. They provide preventive care, vaccination, acute and chronic care, and oversee the child’s healthy development. If another perspective is needed, specialist care follows.
At MY CLINIC, the pediatrician can, when needed, work with an allergist, dermatologist, ENT specialist, physiotherapist, psychologist or other specialists.
At MY CLINIC, we combine the personal approach of a family clinic with the professional background of a wide range of medical specialties. Our goal is not to replace the relationship between the child and the pediatrician, but to strengthen it.
The child has their own pediatrician, who knows them over time and accompanies them throughout their development. If a concern arises that goes beyond a routine check-up, another specialist can be involved quickly.
In practice, this means:
Children’s health concerns often do not have one simple cause.
That is why it is an advantage when a team of experts can look at the child according to the type of difficulty.

Newborns and infants: a safe start from day one
The first months of life are beautiful and demanding at the same time. Parents deal with breastfeeding, sleep, colic, reflux, vaccination, first fevers, psychomotor development and positioning. With newborns, it is important that parents know when calm is enough and when it is better to consult a doctor.
My Newborn
Toddlers: kindergarten, immunity and speech development
The child begins to explore the world more actively. The first group setting arrives, along with defiance, speech development, changes in eating, toilet training and more frequent infections. Parents often ask what is still normal and when further examination makes sense.
My Child
Preschool children: immunity, school readiness and healthy development
In preschool age, chronic cough, allergies, night terrors, growing pains, school readiness or the first signs of attention difficulties are often addressed. Some concerns are temporary. Others deserve a broader view.

School-age children and teenagers: body, mind, sport and stress
In school-age children, abdominal pain and headaches, fatigue, stress, sleep disorders, back pain, poor posture or concerns related to adolescence appear more often. Physical symptoms may be linked to school, movement, sleep and mental wellbeing.
My Junior
Registering a child with a pediatrician is not just an administrative step. It is a decision about who will follow the child’s health, development and needs over the long term.
For newborns, it is ideal to choose a pediatrician before birth. For older children, it is wise not to postpone registration when parents want care that is clearer, more accessible and better connected.
